Triangle (2009)

When Jess sets sail on a yacht with a group of friends, she cannot shake the feeling that there is something wrong. Her suspicions are realized when the yacht hits a storm and the group is forced to board a passing ocean liner to get to safety, a ship Jess is convinced she's been on before. The ship appears deserted, the clock on board has stopped, but they are not alone... Someone is intent on hunting them down, one by one. And Jess unknowingly holds the key to end the terror.


First of all, this is completely misclassified. Far from a horror film, this is actually a psychological thriller, and it barely passes for that. Above-par acting does nothing to save this film which meanders through 90 minutes with no clear direction, a flimsy plot and lousy payoff at the end. This could have been a much better film in more capable producers hands. Instead he settled for a mediocre script, mediocre effects and a less-than mediocre director. But hey - if youre looking for a mediocre film, check it out. You could do worse.


I watched this cause one of the people I follow watched it. Big mistake. I almost vomited at the end because of the absurdity. (Is "absurdity" even a word?!) I would not recommend this movie. Stay away!
